captivating Capiz Sea Food Capital City of the Philippines
Province of capiz is the seafood capital of the Philippines. Capiz is one of the provinces comprising the Western Visayas Region. It is composed of 16 municipalities, 1 city and 473 barangays. Farming and fishing are the primary sources of income of the people in Capiz. Capiz is blessed because of very rich fishing grounds that makes it popular and called “Seafood Capital of the Philippines. Capiz is also the biggest rice and corn producer in the region. The coastal waters of Capiz constitute one of the richest fishing grounds in the Western Visayas. Fish is almost 20, 000 hectares.
